The Bereavement Ministry (Comfort Care) provides support, comfort, love and compassion to individuals and their families during the loss of a loved one. It is the purpose of the Comfort Care Ministry to respond effectively and promptly to the needs of individuals.

Comprised of all men who join the Cleveland Church of Christ, this ministry is responsible for spiritual growth initiatives to develop and empower the men in the church. In addition, the group works at building a strong bridge between the Cleveland Church of Christ youth and the men of the church through education, mentoring, and athletics.

The Sunday School is the educational arm of the church. Classes are from 9:30am – 10:30am. for youths ages 3 – 18 and adults. Bible-based lessons are explored in depth. The classes are taught by dedicated, well-trained teachers. This is an excellent way to study the Word of God and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Other ministries include: Orientation Classes and Bible Study

These volunteers identify and implement services that will meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the community through programs and services such as:

• Community Meals
• Domestic Violence
• Hospital Visitation
• Nursing Home Visitation (Eliza Bryant & McGregor)
• Open Arms Prison Ministry
• Pregnancy Shelter
• Youth Detention Outreach

The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is a ministry of compassion and love where believers “Stand in the Gap” by going before God on behalf of others. It is the desire of the Intercessory Prayer Warriors to intercede with prayer believing that God will answer prayers. This ministry meets at 12:00pm (noon) every Thursday.

The Music and Fine Arts Ministry is comprised of psalmists, musicians, praise dancers and worship leaders. A body of believers who have answered the clarion call to this ministry and who have dedicated their lives to creating an atmosphere for God’s people to praise the Lord.

The Nursing Ministry consists of Health Care Professionals and gifted lay individuals dedicated to promoting Health Awareness, Safety and Health Maintenance in our church and community. The Nursing ministry offers first aid and emergency assistance during regular worship services and special events. Blood pressure readings, diabetes screenings, and an array of health care prevention resources are available.

The Queen Mother’s Nursery (infants through 3 years of age) is open during regular scheduled services. Our intention is to minister to the needs of the children and to provide a safe, happy, and nurturing learning environment.
